Travelling to the race;
Planes
Petersfield is in Hampshire, so in the south east and therefore reasonably close to Heathrow and Gatwick, with major trunk roads and train lines from both to get to Petersfield. With good train links from London, it is accessible from all the London airports for any domestic flights.
Trains
Petersfield is well located and with good transport links from London and the South Coast. It is on the main Portsmouth/Waterloo railway line and is a 1hr 10 min journey time from London Waterloo, making it easy to get out of town for the weekend! There are often taxis waiting at the station or there are local taxi numbers at the bottom of this page, it is a very short journey across Petersfield to get from the station to the race venue.
Automobiles
Petersfield is 30 mins drive south on the A3 from the A3/ M25 Wisley Junction, signposted Guildford and Portsmouth. It is approx 15 mins drive up from Portsmouth and the M27, so has good access from Southampton, Brighton and the south coast.
The rugby club is on the east side of Petersfield, 5 mins from the Sheet/Midhurst A272 junction off the A3. Once in Sheet turn off the A272 onto the B2199 and follow signs for EHDC offices, the rugby club is at the same place as the offices.
There is ample parking on site and depending on ground conditions your car can be parked on the grass next to your tent if you are camping. Camping page.
